Our training and development strategies involve both short term and long-term approaches. Systematic orientation of each new employee through induction training, on the job training, in-house group training, personal development training, workshops and seminars and study tours are available to staff based on skill competency needs analysis.
Long term training opportunities are available to staff in the form of company scholarships, study assistance, paid leave up to one year and the assistance to payoff employee student loan are also available to staff of HDC. Staff who successfully completed these training and development programs are currently working at higher managerial levels of HDC.

Staff engagement and motivation has always been a key priority for us. We organize staff engagement activities mainly through Club HDC. All HDC staffs are members of the club.
Club HDC is a recreational club formed to promote staff relations & to open up avenues for promoting recreational activities. It organizes various internal events throughout the year.
Executive Committee is elected each year to organize and manage club activities.
Participation in activities are regarded as part of work and will be considered in awarding some employee benefit schemes.
