MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT 

  • Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering or relevant field with minimum 1 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience will be considered only upon submission of an official reference letter explicitly stating the duration of employment.


OVERALL SCOPE

Responsible to supervise and monitor the construction projects and ensure the projects are completed within the time and budget.


SCOPE OF WORK

  • Prepare structural drawings and designs for projects.        
  • Design and review infrastructure project (roads, harbors, reclamation and shore protections etc.). 
  • Review, verify, and analyze structural designs, drawings, and calculations submitted by consultants, contractors, or stakeholders.  
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding own tasks or team tasks to successfully complete the given tasks/projects.        
  • Confirm adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress, inspecting construction site, and verifying calculations and placements.        
  • Obtain and compile all necessary information for the implementation of projects.
  • Monitor construction progress and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance. 
  • Make recommendations or present solutions to any emerging problems/deficiencies.              
  • Ensure to follow proper documentation and quality control standards.        
  • Provide assistance in reviewing and analyzing structural designs and drawings submitted by relevant stakeholders.
  • Examine construction materials and give approval if required.

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

  • Excellent knowledge of building and construction methods, materials and legal regulations.    
  • Fluent with AutoCAD and experienced in Autodesk Revit.        
  • Fluent with structural design software’s such as STAAD Pro.        
  • Familiar project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.    
  • Able to interpret and understand engineering drawings and specifications and architectural plans, concepts and methodologies.        
  • Able to interpret maps, site and building plans and specifications, graphs and statistical data.    
  • Should be an effectual communicator verbally as well as through writing skills.  
  • Understand and apply all aspects of local laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards pertaining to the planning process.
  • Should be familiar with Microsoft Office package and any other relevant software.
