MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT 

  • Degree in a relevant field with minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience will be considered only upon submission of an official reference letter explicitly stating the duration of employment.


OVERALL SCOPE

Prepare and manage the cost of installation, materials and workmanships and to come out with a well-planned estimate which is beneficial to both the company and the main contractors for each individual project that the company is handling.


SCOPE OF WORK 

  • Develop tentative & accurate cost estimates for projects, accounting for materials, labor and other relevant expenses.
  • Produce detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) & Bill of Quantity (BOQ), Tailored to specific project requirements for both in-house and outsourced projects
  • Assist and advice during procurement process and reconciliation of material for the in-house projects.
  • Provide cost insights to ensure the procurement of materials aligns with the project budget and objectives.
  • Conduct cost comparisons and evaluations to assess the financial implications and feasibility of different options or strategies during the project planning and formulation stage.
  • Analyze current market rates, and create rate breakdowns to support project budgeting and cost planning.
  • Assess and evaluate bids/proposals from service providers, providing technical input to the procurement department for the selection of contractors or consultants if required
  • Continuously refine cost estimation techniques and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with stakeholder to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks.
  • Formulate and revise related policies and procedures to enhance the section.

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

  • Should be able to provide post-occupancy advice, facilities management services and life cycle costing advice.
  • Direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • Experience at working both independently and in team oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
  • Can confirm to shifting proprieties, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software and technical know-how of the projects.
