MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT 

  • Degree in a relevant field with minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience will be considered only upon submission of an official reference letter explicitly stating the duration of employment.


OVERALL SCOPE

Responsible for developing and implementing urban planning strategies in compliance with the government rules and regulations.


SCOPE OF WORK 

  • Contribute and co-lead the assigned projects which includes preparation of concept designs and defining the development scopes.
  • Manage range of planning and urban design projects which includes design and concepts, vision plans, master plans, specific plans, community plans, development standards and guidelines.
  • Develop and periodically review urban master plan under the guidance of supervisor.
  • Conduct research and data analysis to contribute on design and planning decisions.
  • Develop and review guideline drawings for the specific development projects.
  • Evaluate and provide approvals for concept drawings related to the development projects.
  • Formulate and publish planning regulations, guidelines, policies and strategies in line with the company objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive rejuvenation proposals and handover to relevant departments for implementation.
  • Execute and deliver go-beyond projects and global reach programs as required, aligning with the strategic action plan.
  • Respond to consultations on national legislation policies, land use regulations, regional policies and development guidelines. 
  • Coordinate with the external and internal stakeholders to complete the assigned tasks.
  • Assign task to the team members, monitor the progress and guide them when necessary.
  • Consult with stakeholders and other interested parties and develop creative and original planning solutions.
  • Utilize computer aided drawing and graphic software to run modeling studies, create illustrations for plans, design standards and guidelines, presentations, work sessions and other deliverable.
  • Understand and keep up to date with legislation associated with land use and government policies, local laws, regulations and standards of planning.
  • Visit sites to assess the effects of proposals on people or the environment and the urban development.
  • Carry out any other relevant and necessary jobs for the overall completions of projects.


JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

  • Familiar with 3D modeling rendering software (Sketch-up, Lumion, 3D Studio Max, etc.) and AutoCAD.
  • Able to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Should be creative and innovative, with spatial visualizing skills and design thinking.
  • Knowledge of urban controls, and development guidelines.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices.
