MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT 

  • Degree in Building and Construction or engineering or Quantity Surveying or Project Management or related field with minimum of 5 years in construction field including 4 years in contract negotiations.
  • Experience will be considered only upon submission of an official reference letter explicitly stating the duration of employment.


OVERALL SCOPE

Plan, coordinate and oversee the work of the tender and contract administration and ensure delivery of the section mandate, ensuring departmental goals align with organizational priorities. 


SCOPE OF WORK 

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction on all construction tender and contract administration activities.
  • Ensure alignment of construction procurement activities with corporate objectives, policies, and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate and take lead in managing tender & contracts on a wide variety of outsource construction works.
  • Plan & coordinate negotiations with contractors in liaison with relevant department prior to signing contract for construction projects
  • Prepare and review, terms of reference, tender and contract documents for construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with FIDIC standards, regulatory frameworks, and internal governance procedures.
  • Guide & advice on procurement strategy.
  • Advise executive management on contractual risks, dispute resolution, and commercial impacts.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, and project teams to streamline contract execution and enforcement.
  • Ensuring team capability building and continuous process improvement.
  • Manage high-level operations, support policy implementation, oversee senior staff, and contribute to decision-making and risk management across projects.


JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

  • Ability to lead contract frameworks and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • In-depth understanding of complex contractual structures and dispute mechanisms.
  • Skilled in identifying, mitigating, and managing high-value contractual and legal risks.
  • Strong financial and commercial insight to evaluate contract impacts and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives, legal counsel, and project leads.
  • Experience in formulating and improving contracting policies, procedures, and standard templates.
  • Experience at working both independently and in team oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software's and technical know-how of the projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


SALARY PACKAGE

Salary negotiable based on educational qualification and experience.
