MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT 

  • O’Level with minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Certificate in Basic First Aid, CPR and Fire Safety.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have Basic Life Support (BLS) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Certification 


OVERALL SCOPE

Responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and emergency preparedness of all guests, staff and visitors on the island. In addition, ensuring the Emergency Response Officer is the first point of contact during any emergencies and coordinating appropriate responses in alignment with organizational and regulatory standards.


SCOPE OF WORK 

  • Respond promptly to medical, safety, and emergency incidents across the island.
  • Administer first aid and coordinate effectively with external emergency services when required.
  • Monitor and ensure island-wide health, safety, and fire compliance. 
  • Conduct routine inspections of all facilities, equipment, and safety systems to identify risks and ensure operational safety.
  • Oversee the functionality of fire detection and suppression systems; lead evacuation drills and manage emergency evacuations.
  • Support water safety efforts, including participating in water rescue operations when necessary.
  • Provide awareness sessions to the Kudagiri staff on emergency procedures, including first aid, fire response, and evacuation protocols.
  • Maintain, inspect, and replenish emergency kits and safety equipment to ensure readiness.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during emergency situations, ensuring clear communication and coordination.


JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

  • Experience in emergency response, rescue operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong swimming and rescue skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Certification in Emergency Evacuation & Crisis Response, Local Emergency Protocols & Maritime Safety, Lifeguard or Open Water Rescue or related areas will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to operate small Rescue Boats will be an added advantage.


SALARY PACKAGE

Gross Salary of MVR 17,000.
