OVERALL SCOPE
Assist in planning and coordinating surveying activities.
SCOPE OF WORK
Assist the surveying team to measure and record distances/angles of the land surface, including boundary points, topographical features and other designated markers.
Assist in verifying the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
Assist surveyors in drafting survey notes and detailed drawings.
Assist in updating the maps and all survey information on a regular basis.
Conduct on-site inspections to visually identify objects in order to resolve conflicting data, and verify data accuracy.
Assist in conducting hydrographic surveys and Aerial (UAV) mapping and related data processing.
Assist to update survey and land information into the GIS system.
Assist in creating reports and maps according to the information from field measurements, boundary markers and topographical features.
Coordinate with relevant personnel as needed for the successful completion of assigned works.
Maintain proper documentation of all surveying related activities by keeping logs, reports and records of relevant data.
JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
Ability to collect, graph, and analyze field data.
Ability to compare field data against design specifications and present findings effectively.
Familiarity with software related to surveying.
Should be an effectual communicator verbally as well as through writing skills.
Should be familiar with Microsoft office package.
