Assistant Planning Officer

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

• O’level/A’level
• Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in a related field.

OVERALL SCOPE

Responsible for providing support to departmental operations through administrative, technical, and coordination of tasks.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Perform day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the department.
• Maintain and organize documentation related to department and equipment.
• Assist in drafting, formatting and finalizing reports and documents related to design and development, surveying, environment, and GIS mapping.
• Record and prepare meeting minutes and summaries of departmental activities.
• Arrange and coordinate discussions with stakeholders for projects and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs).
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure survey tasks and projects are completed successfully.
• Maintain and update the inventory of equipment and schedule routine maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
• Handle correspondence related to equipment maintenance and upkeep.
• Arrange site visits to assess and monitor ongoing projects.
• Assist in research and development of building guidelines for continuous development.

• Ability to manage and instruct the construction crew and other team members.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Should possess project management and planning skills.
• Should be able to priorities tasks and manage one's own time effectively   
• Proactive, highly motivated and flexible.
• Should be familiar with relevant software such as Microsoft Office package and AutoCAD.

SALARY PACKAGE

Gross Salary of 13,000.00
