Environment Officer

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT 

• Degree in Environment Science or relevant field.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have EIA License.

OVERALL SCOPE

Assist in conducting ecological studies, and aid in preparing reports accordingly

SCOPE OF WORK 

• Aid in conducting ecological studies.
• Aid in the study, identification, classification, and reporting of plant and animal specimens while coordinating with relevant authorities.
• Assist in conducting controlled trials in assigned areas to propagate and manage plants or animals within the built environment.
• Prepare reports and plans of available environmental resources.
• Assist in making the ecological and environmental assessments to monitor air quality, beach conditions, and coastal and lagoon ecosystems.

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

• Open water Diver and strong swimmer preferably with a specialty such as reef check or equivalent
• Familiar with CPCe.
• Familiar with AutoCad, Qgis, or ArcGIS.
• Should be able to conduct environmental impact assessments.
• Able to work in both office and the field for data collection and monitoring.

SALARY PACKAGE

Salary negotiable based on educational qualification and experience.
