MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT 

  • Degree in Accounting or relevant field or ACCA/CMA partially qualified.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with related experience.


OVERALL SCOPE

Responsible for identifying and assessing potential risks, reporting, monitoring, and implementing risk management strategies.


SCOPE OF WORK 

  • Assist in creating and enforcing risk management policies and procedures to establish a structured approach to identifying, assessing, and managing risks.
  • Regularly assessing potential risks to proactively identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks that may impact the organization.
  • Developing and applying risk mitigation strategies to reduce, transfer, or eliminate identified risks.
  • Continuously tracking risk exposure levels and reporting these findings to management to clearly understand the organization’s risk landscape.
  • Verifying that all risk management practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Providing training and resources to ensure that employees understand and adhere to risk management practices.
  • Generating detailed reports for senior management that outline key risk indicators, assessments, and mitigation progress.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in risk management.
  • Compiling and maintaining an updated risk register to document and monitor risks along with associated mitigation efforts.
  • Interpreting risk data and providing actionable insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Ensure that risk management practices are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Communicate risk management strategies to stakeholders.
  • Identify and assess emerging risks.
  • Develop and implement risk awareness programs.


JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of GAP, IAS, and IFRS.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office package, accounting packages, and other relevant software.
  • Familiar with business analysis and modeling.
  • Proficiency in risk analysis and modeling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Dhivehi and English.
  • Should be able to work as an individual and as a flexible team player.
  • Strong research and presentation skills.



SALARY PACKAGE

Gross Salary of MVR 17,000.00
