CCTV Engineer

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT 

• Degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field with minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field. (OR)
• Professional Certification with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.

OVERALL SCOPE

Responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining comprehensive troubleshooting Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems according to set guidelines and specific needs of the corporation.

SCOPE OF WORK 

• Install and mount CCTV cameras, monitors, recording devices, and related equipment.
• Configure and program CCTV systems, including camera settings, recording modes, and network integration.
• Collaborate with the project manager, security personnel, and other stakeholders to understand their security requirements and objectives.
• Create detailed documentation of installed systems, including system layouts, equipment specifications, and installation instructions required for RFPs and internal documentation. 
• Conduct site surveys to evaluate existing CCTV systems and recommend improvements. 
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with CCTV systems, including camera malfunctions, connectivity problems, and recording errors.
• Provide technical support to clients, both remotely and on-site, to resolve system issues promptly.

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

• In-depth knowledge of CCTV technologies, including camera types, lenses, resolution, compression methods, and related hardware and software.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, including IP and analog cameras, video management systems, networking and related hardware and software.
• Familiarity with industry best-practice standards and regulations, including IEC, ISO, and guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD drawings and designing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex CCTV system issues.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

SALARY PACKAGE

Negotiable based on educational qualification and experience.
