Assistant Mechanic

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT 

• Grade 10 with minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field.

OVERALL SCOPE

Undertake repair and maintenance of Vehicles of the Corporation under guidance of the supervisor.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Assist to maintain vehicles, which include the company’s fleet of light and heavy vehicles. 
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance including oil changes and tune-ups under the instructions of supervisor.
• Perform tests on specific parts and systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning parts and systems such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions and other mechanical parts.
• Test drives vehicle to confirm safe and proper operation.
• Assist in conducting the relevant tests required to carry out maintenance and ensure serviceability.
• Inform the supervisor regarding materials requirement in a timely manner.
• Prepare reports in accordance to tests conducted.

• Knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair.
• Mechanical repair skills

SALARY PACKAGE

Gross Salary MVR 11,500.00 to 16,000.00
